Outsiders Code & Winnerz Circle at the Bergy Bandroom

Melbourne hardcore staple OUTSIDERS CODE made their long awaited return to the Bergy
Bandroom with their first headlining show in 14 years, setting the roof on fire with a show that brought together some of Australia’s finest hardcore units, the night initiated by South Australian’s own WINNERZ CIRCLE and supported by DIZDAIN, IMPLODE and ZERO HOUR.

The night opened with ZERO HOUR, who wasted no time setting the tone. Their riffs were sharp and fast, the vocals deep and guttural; the night was immediately kicked into gear, as was the pit.

IMPLODE doubled down, bringing in a heavy and unrelenting sound that had the crowd spilling over the stage, crowd-killing the speakers, showing the bands hold on the audience was almost as strong as the straps holding the PA.

DIZDAIN stormed the stage, bringing the rooms energy to its peak. With a new EP around the corner, the band played with an unrelenting force, and by the end of their set, the Bergy floor was shaking. Their presence was unmatched and electric, and the pit’s energy had an unmistakable grit; in its power and it’s attitude.

The driver of the night, South Australia’s WINNERZ CIRCLE brought some serious weight to the lineup. On their only stop in Melbourne of 2025, they hit the stage with raw intensity that could be felt at the back of the room, launching straight into the set that had the crowd in a frenzy. Fans swarmed the stage, grabbing the mic, screaming every word.

When OUTSIDERS CODE took the stage, the room had hit its absolute boiling point. The band wasted no time reminding everyone why they’re cornerstones of Melbourne Hardcore. With the first note, the pit erupted instantly. Fists raising, bodies flying, the kind of energy that feels both dangerous but absolutely unifying. Their set was a mix of old and new, a set that continued to shake the Bergy to it’s core. OUTSIDERS CODE still deliver with the same fire that first set them apart in Melbourne Hardcore.

Nights like these are a reminder of what makes Melbourne Hardcore so enduring. Five intense bands and a room full of people who live and breathe it. It wasn’t just a night of returning headliners, wall-to-wall pits and a uniting of community, it was complete and utter Hardcore catharsis.
